Application
Step 1:
Shake the granules gently to get them into the middle of your pad. Without removing it from its packaging, fold the pad in the middle until you hear the contents of the bag "crack". If it doesn't work from one side, turn the pad over and try the other side.
Step 2:
Cool the contents of the bag by gently shaking (no longer than 5 seconds). The contents should slowly liquefy.
Step 3:
Remove packaging and adhesive strips and place them in your panties.
Make sure that no liquid leaks out of the pad!
Our midwife tip:
Add a few drops of arnica or calendula tincture to the bandage.

FAQ
Why do I need a cold bandage?
After a vaginal birth, you are exposed to potential birth injuries and uncomfortable swelling. Midwives recommend cooling the affected areas. At the same time, however, you will experience relatively heavy bleeding, the lochia, in the first few days and weeks after the birth. A solution that can do both is therefore recommended: cooling and absorbing.
What makes our cooling bandages so special?
Our cooling bandage is a 2-in-1 product: it absorbs the bleeding and cools for up to 30 minutes at the same time. If you give birth by cesarean section, you can also use the bandage to cool your cesarean section wound.
What is so practical about our cooling bandage?
You don't have to put the bandage in the freezer, just fold it to activate the cooling effect. It's perfect for when you're on the go or in the hospital if there's no space in the freezer or no ice bandages available. And you don't have to worry about freezer burn because our cooling bandages are at the perfect temperature.
How do I activate the cooling?
There are granules inside the cooling bandage. These granules must be in the middle of the bandage. Sometimes they slide down during transport, so just shake the bandage a little until the granules are in the middle.
Then you can bend the bandage firmly until you hear a crack. If it doesn't work on one side, try the other side. As soon as you hear the crack, the cooling is activated.
Now you have to shake the bandage a little until the granules have dissolved. Then you can enjoy the pleasant cooling.
The MyClarella® postpartum cooling bandage is an absolute must-have for your hospital bag: it combines cooling and leak protection for the first few days after birth.
Did you know that midwives recommend cooling birth injuries immediately after birth? With our self-cooling postpartum cooling bandages, you no longer have to improvise: no slipping of ice packs, no time-consuming freezing of bandages. The cooling effect starts immediately and lasts for 20-30 minutes - exactly as recommended by midwives. At the same time, the maximum absorbency of the bandage ensures reliable leak protection, so that you can feel completely protected and comfortable.
